2nd WAL User Meeting and Workshop
Friday, February 5nd, 2016
Dear Collegues,
autologous fat transfer is among the most innovative developements in plastic and reconstructive surgery during the past few years. Indications and long term stability are increasing due to worlwide research and experiences.
Water assisted liposuction as a consequent follow up of standard tumescence liposuction techniques is spreading worldwide, too. This is, amongst others, based on the outstanding quality of fat aspirate.
The BEAULI workshops, presented by my collegue Klaus Ueberreiter since many years, are very popular for their knowledge transfer related to lipofilling.
Furthermore, there are many requests from local and foreign WAL users concerning liposuction procedures under different conditions.
Avoiding unsatisfying results and preventing surgical comlications and pitfalls is an ongoeing issue.
As Co-inventor of WAL technique I’ve realized in many worldwide workshops that optimal results suffer sometimes from marginal reasons.
Therefore, it is a great pleasure for Klaus Ueberreiter and me to present this second workshop focussed on practical issues and daily problems. Not only different WAL indications will be addressed, but all kinds of lipofilling indications and procedures as well.
Together we want to present all relevant questions and answers in daily surgical routine. Live operations with different WAL units will present state oft the art procedures under both, local and general aneasthesia.
Direct communication will allow Q and A along with the procedures.
Hope to meet you in Hamburg!
Hartmut Meyer, M.D.
